The Navigator – Sunday January 4, 2009 19.00-21.00

Hoi friends

The year is only three days old and this incredible assault by Israel on the Palestinians has dashed any hope on a peaceful resolution of the conflict this year. While the Hamas rockets on Israel are not very helpful, it is highly unlikely that such an amount of brutal and sheer violence by Israel will solve anything. Violence breeds extremism.

“Ten Palestinians were killed Friday in more than 30 Israeli air strikes. Seven of them were civilians, including five children, local medics said.
One missile killed three Palestinian children aged between eight and 12 as they played on a street near the town of Khan Yunis in the south of the strip.
One was decapitated.”

What threat did these kids pose to Israel?

Where is the outrage?

This week I went back in my archives to make some mixes for the mother of my kids. She’s not too much into global grooves. She likes soul. I do as well and I hope you do as most of the show will be just like that, spiced with gospel and rock.
